The primary aluminium industry, which is considered to be an epicentre of the aluminium value chain, is always spotted with crucial occurrences. This week was no exception, and the most vital event was the commencement of productions at aluminium smelters in Yunnan. This phenomenon is expected to reduce 1.5 million tonnes of production out of the total capacity.
