In Germany, Hydro is the largest and most versatile aluminium company in the country. The company operates three rolling mills - in Grevenbroich, Neuss and Hamburg. In Neuss, Hydro also operates the largest primary aluminium production in the country. The company’s team is spread throughout the nation in sales offices, research and development facilities, and manufacturing sites. In addtion, we have five manufacturing plants – in Bellenberg, Offenburg, Rackwitz, Remscheid and Uphusen – that deliver extruded aluminium products and also tubing solutions. We have aluminium building systems activities in a number of locations, including Ulm. Hydro has a primary aluminium plant in Neuss, which is the largest plant of its kind in Germany
