According to the Shanghai Metals Market, A00 aluminium ingot price has shrunk by RMB 190 per tonne to come in at RMB 22,630 per tonne on Thursday, September 30, following a sharp rise of RMB 330 per tonne on the previous day to RMB 22,820 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 22,610 per tonne and RMB 22,650 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 120-80 per tonne, down by RMB 40 per tonne from the previous day.
In Tinajin and Linyi, primary aluminium ingot price has plunged by RMB 200 per tonne to stand at RMB 22,620 per tonne and RMB 22,580 per tonne, respectively, followed by the decrease of RMB 190 per tonne in Foshan and Gongyi to RMB 22,660 per tonne and RMB 22,470 per tonne. In Hangzhou and Wuxi, A00 aluminium ingot price has declined by RMB 185 per tonne and RMB 150 per tonne to close at RMB 22,640 per tonne and RMB 22,630 per tonne, while the price in Chongqing and Shenyang has slipped by RMB 135 per tonne and RMB 105 per tonne to RMB 22,610 per tonne and RMB 22,620 per tonne, respectively.
Aluminium alloy (A356) price has also recorded a decrease of RMB 200 per tonne to settle at RMB 26,750 per tonne on September 30, found SMM. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 26,700 per tonne and RMB 26,800 per tonne.

However, aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have remained restrained at RMB 24,400 per tonne and RMB 25,600 per tonne, respectively.
Among primary aluminium input costs, caustic soda (32% concentration) price in Shandong has increased by RMB 25 per tonne to stand at RMB 1,150 per tonne, with average prices likely to range between RMB 1,000 per tonne and RMB 1,300 per tonne.
Aluminium powder price has inched down by RMB 0.20 per tonne to come in at RMB 26.15 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 26.10 per tonne and RMB 26.20 per tonne.
