According to Shanghai Metals Market, the A00 aluminium ingot price has recorded a dip today, on April 11, by RMB 20 per tonne to stand at RMB 13,810 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 13,790 per tonne and RMB 13,830 per tonne, with spot discount to settle at RMB 20 per tonne.
Through this ongoing week, the A00 aluminium ingot price has shown an oscillating trend starting with a rise on Monday, April 8 from RMB 13,810 per tonne to RMB 13,820 per tonne and then a drop on Tuesday, April 9, to RMB 13780 per tonne followed by a rise again on April 10 to RMB 13,830 per tonne. After today’s drop the ingot price is again back to where it started the week.
In Wuxi and Hangzhou of the east market, the ingot price has registered a drop by RMB 10 per tonne each to stand at RMB 13,805 per tonne and RMB 13,830 per tonne, respectively; while in the south market, the price has plunged by RMB 40 per tonne to clock at RMB 13,800 per tonne. In the north also the price is hovering at RMB 13,800 per tonne, but it has registered a growth of RMB 40 per tonne instead of a plunge.
As far as the input costs are concerned, none has registered any change today except the aluminium fluoride. After hovering at RMB 9,500 per tonne for a week, the price of the raw material has dropped to RMB 9,400 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 9,300 per tonne and RMB 9,500 per tonne.
