Acer unveiled its new Swift series of ultra-thin and lightweight notebook PCs with all-aluminium chassis at its Global Press Conference at IFA Berlin. The new Swift series has four different models called Swift 7, Swift 5, Swift 3 and Swift 1. The new ultra-thin models feature Windows 10 and offers options for every budget and lifestyle preferences.

The intelligent use of aluminium chassis makes the flagship Swift 7 model extremely thin and lightweight at just 0.39 inches thick and with a weight of just 2.48 pounds (1.1 kg). This is the world’s first laptop that is thinner than 1 cm. The black-and-gold dual tone design adds a touch of elegance and style to its durable all-aluminium uni-body which adds strength to the thin structure. The 13.3-inch Full HD IPS display with a micro-bezel is scratch proof due to the use of tough Corning Gorilla Glass. The perfect notebook for people on the go it offers up to 9 hours of battery life.
The 7th Generation Intel Core i5 processor together with fast 256GB SSD and up to 8GB of memory offers top-of-the-line performance. The latest wireless technology delivers reliable and up to three times faster connections. The notebook is armed with dual USB 3.1 Type-C ports and an HD webcam with HDR (High Dynamic Range) imaging support.
