Aleris Corporation, a global leader in the production and sale of aluminium rolled products, announced on Monday that the company inked an agency agreement with UAE-based MJ Building Materials Trading DMCC.
With this tie-up, MJ Building will exclusively promote Aleris' 55HX in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE. 55HX is an aluminium material for architectural applications such as facades and claddings, ceilings and walls, and roofs.

Johan Petry, vice-president of Aleris Industrial Products, commented: "Our 55HX is already a well-known brand in the European advanced architecture market, and it will grow further in the Gulf region thanks to this partnership."
"By combining MJ Building Materials’ experience in the region and Aleris’ know-how in architectural applications, we will strengthen our position in the Middle-East."

Aleris headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio, operates 14 production facilities throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. The company is one of the largest suppliers of aluminium for residential building products in North America.
