Alteria Aluminium Systems is dedicated to implementing a comprehensive sustainability strategy that entails collaborating with like-minded partners. As a demonstration of its unwavering commitment to providing an eco-friendly batten and cladding solution, they have entered into a partnership with Capral Aluminium to source its LocAl Green, a low-carbon aluminium variant, for all the company's flagship aluminium extruded products.
{alcircleadd}Alteria had a crucial objective of promoting sustainability when developing its product range. In line with this goal, the company made it a priority to identify options that could reduce carbon emissions in order to source solutions that could effectively contribute to the Net Zero target.
It's worth noting that some suppliers might provide Capral LocAl Green as an optional extra for an additional charge. However, at Alteria, the team has decided to offer LocAl Green aluminium in their range exclusively and has taken the responsibility of covering the costs as well. This means their customers won't have to pay any additional charges and can enjoy the benefits of LocAl Green aluminium.
Capral's LocAl Green aluminium is a sustainable alternative to traditional primary aluminium, which emits a significantly lower amount of carbon emissions. LocAl Green aluminium produces only eight kilograms of carbon emissions per kilogram of aluminium, which is a substantial reduction compared to the current global average.
By incorporating LocAl Green aluminium into Alteria Aluminium's products, the firm can significantly reduce the carbon footprint of its patented items. This reduction in carbon emissions can lead to a more eco-friendly and sustainable supply chain, which is crucial in today's business climate.
Capral Aluminium, the Australia-based firm, is dedicated to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050 and actively working toward negating Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions. The company uses a primary billet with certified CO2e content of 8kg CO2e/kg AL or less, which is locally sourced and environmentally sustainable.
Furthermore, Capral Aluminium has received certification from ASI Performance Standard V3 and Chain of Custody (CoC) V2 for its extrusion, warehousing, and distribution of aluminium products and services. The company sources all its primary aluminium from ASI Certified smelters with a complete Chain of Custody management, ensuring the highest standards of sustainability and environmental responsibility.
