One of the biggest aluminium industry players in Sri Lanka, Alumex PLC, has declared the initiation of its flagship loyalty drive, “Divikavuluwa”. The largest aluminium extrusion manufacturer in the region is eager to introduce community-based programmes to augment the future positions of the nation’s aluminium fabricators.
{alcircleadd}In alignment with the programme, all Alumex products would now be tagged with barcode stickers so that fabricators may encash the points embedded for account credit.
These points will accumulate against a particular user id and can be redeemed over time by the user for any future purchases, retirement savings or use in urgency. Alumex, through this “Divikavuluwa” programme, wishes to allot bonus points and rewards for the fabricators in the upcoming days.
The Alumex Managing Director, Pramuk Dediwela, commented: “Our growth is intrinsically linked to that of our community of fabricators, suppliers and broader network. We are aware of the responsibility that accompanies an industry leader and is committed to ensuring the growth of the sector as a whole.
“In order to achieve our fullest potential, we have launched the Divikavuluwa project, which aims at strengthening and growing the network of aluminium fabricators in the nation,” he added.
In a few weeks, Alumex will be launching a mobile app to run a smooth course of action along with refreshed real-time updates and visual redemption of points on the go.
Dediwala then went on to illustrate how the basic bond of Alumex and its fabricators led the company to create such an algorithm for the greater good of both parties. This loyalty programme further strengthens the company-client relationship.
“Our teams are in constant contact with our fabricator network, and through those conversations, we quickly understood how much difficulties they were facing when prices of all raw materials are at all-time highs. Survival has become a real challenge; however, by bundling significantly greater value into repeat purchases, we are able to offer a helping hand to our fabricators and help them to grow together with us,” Dediwala seemed quite optimistic.
Alumex has opened up registration opportunities for the entire aluminium fabrication sector to generate an internal dependency. Once the fabricators sign up for Alumex’s Divikavuluwa project, they will start earning reward points.
Alumex has been giving professional training to almost 2,500 fabricators since it launched its training programme 25 years back.
The company has currently entered the global market with its patented D-I-Y product series and the revolutionary low-carbon aluminium range: “Ozon” and “Real”. Alumex is keen on expanding its borders and tries on new diversities to meet the growing demand for sustainable aluminium solutions.
