{alcircleadd}Since its inception in 1988, the firm has grown to include three extrusion lines, an anodizing line, three powder coating lines (one vertical), and an aluminium recycling plant spread over three manufacturing centres. Alumex uses these facilities to manufacture items under its own brand as well as for a few globally recognised proprietary brands.
A unique portfolio and excellent product performance have led Alumex’s growing momentum in the worldwide markets. Alumex is regarded as a pioneer and trusted leader in the local Aluminium sector. Their reputation for making superior aluminum extrusions has allowed them to expand internationally, with exports to the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Switzerland, Singapore, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Kenya, and Bangladesh. Alumex is motivated by a concept of constant innovation to provide revolutionary aluminum products, such as becoming the first company in South Asia to develop a vertical powder coating factory.
“The global Aluminium industry will take the right path towards achieving sustainable growth & development if it is supported by organizations like ASI. Thorough implementation and effective enforcement of sustainable practices, industry standards, policies and regulations will assist the global aluminium industry towards further developments and growth,” said Pramuk Dediwela, Managing Director of Alumex.
