Alumina (Imported) price stands lower at RMB 2430/t; A00 aluminium ingot price up by 1.68%

The average spot alumina price stands at RMB 2421 per tonne on Thursday, 26 March 2020, a drop of RMB 28 per tonne or 1.14 per cent from RMB 2449 per tonne. The alumina prices in China have decreased in all major markets except South.

The average prices of Alumina-East and Alumina-Central have dropped by RMB 20 per tonne and RMB 30 per tonne to stand at RMB 2420 per tonne and RMB 2425 per tonne. Their average prices are expected to range at RMB 2400-2440 per tonne and RMB 2400-2450 per tonne. North Central price stands at RMB 2420 per tonne. The price in South China markets remains unchanged at RMB 2520 per tonne.

Alumina (Imported) price has declined to RMB 2430 per tonne, representing a decrease of RMB 20 per tonne or 0.82 per cent from RMB 2450 per tonne. The average price is expected to move within a range of RMB 2400-2460 per tonne. 

Australian alumina FOB price stands USD 1 per tonne lower at USD 269 per tonne on Thursday, 26 March 2020, after remaining flat at USD 270 per tonne on Wednesday.

A00 aluminium ingot price records a growth of RMB 190 per tonne or 1.68 per cent. The price stands at RMB 11520 per tonne today. The price is expected to move within a range of RMB 11500-11540 per tonne. Spot aluminium contract is likely to be traded at a discount of RMB120-80 per tonne.

The Aluminium alloy (ZLD102) and Aluminium alloy (ZLD104) prices have increased by RMB 200 per tonne each to RMB 12100 per tonne each on Thursday, 26 March 2020. The aluminium alloy (A356) price is also up by RMB 200 per tonne to RMB 12250 per tonne.
