Lamborghini has launched the ultra-rare Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae Coupé in India, which flaunts a blended carbon fiber and aluminium body. The Italian supercar maker will manufacture 350 units of the Ultimae Coupé and 250 models of the Roadster globally, out of which not one car is left seeking ownership. In addition to everything, Lamborghini has launched the Aventador Ultimae Roadster in India and also has handed out two models in good faith.
The Aventador Ultimae’s body composition is a mixture of carbon fiber and aluminium, the monocoque is created with carbon fiber, while the front and rear frames are aluminium made. Aluminium is one of the most lightweight metals on the planet and its use here ensures no added weightage to the car’s volume.
Considering the exterior, the Ultimae has made no particular changes to the signature Aventador design specifications, excluding some new additions like the front and hind bumpers. However, the Indian version of the model receives a special paint coat by Voila Pasifae and brake calipers made of bronze.
The Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae has the highest potential among all the Aventadors uptil now. It comes accompanied by a naturally aspirated 6,498cc V12 petrol mill that can yield 770bhp at 8,500rpm and 720Nm of torque at 6,750rpm. This exceptional engine comes along with a seven-speed automatic gearbox. Most importantly, this all-wheel-drive supercar can jump from stagnancy to 100kmph in just 2.8 seconds, while it can reach zero to 200kmph in 8.7 seconds and has a final capacity of 355kmph. Moreover, this current version of the Aventador will be the last to uphold combustion engine V12 in its most pious form before the entire Lamborghini range moves towards electric engines.
In the interior, the Aventador Ultimae features high-grade Alcantara upholstery. Moreover, the cockpit houses the model identity placard, mainly stating ‘1 out of 350’ and so on. Along with these characteristics, the car will have a small infotainment touchscreen, a large driver display and a variation of carbon fiber equipment like bucket seats.
The Head of Lamborghini India, Sharad Agarwal remarked: “We are delighted to unveil the first Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae Coupé in the country. Limited to 350 units of Coupé version worldwide, the Ultimae has the highest-performing naturally aspirated V12 engine in Lamborghini history, as well as sophisticated technical solutions and unrivalled styling. It is the most powerful Aventador ever built, and we are thrilled to introduce it to our Lamborghini clients and enthusiasts in India.”
