Aluminium serves as a tool for limitless creativity for architects. Buildings may be significantly more relaxed throughout the summer because aluminium reflects sunlight, which can lead to lower power expenses. It also has a very high strength-to-weight ratio, making it an excellent choice for building materials and showing how even a modest bit of aluminium can strengthen a building.
{alcircleadd}Located in Singapore, the 3ASH House by Czarl Architects is a striking structure with a masculine appearance. Partially covered in a latticed aluminium screen, whose angular components contribute an uneven rhythm that quietly harmonises with its surroundings, the sprawling architecture has been created using natural materials.
Latticework is an openwork structure made of crisscrossing strips of construction material, usually metal or wood. The pattern is made by weaving or gridding the strips together. An aluminium lattice is better than other lattice products on the market. It is entirely made of aluminium extrusion, making it sturdy, light, smooth to the touch, free of rough edges, resistant to corrosion, and capable of being powder-coated in any colour to match your house.
“The façade consists of two key visual components. The first of them is the lattice screen work that was designed to bolster privacy and solar shading and is made up of modular powder coated folded aluminium panels mounted onto a concealed steel frame,” said the architect.
The aluminium screen panels ensure good visual communication with the outside, permitting sufficient natural ventilation while also serving as a privacy screen and controlling solid solar glare. In addition to its primary function, the aluminium screen produces significant changes in the way light interacts with areas from the inside.
The lap pool, which takes up a sizable portion of the second floor, is next to a terrace that connects the two living units, which adhere to the village-style plan and include two bedrooms and a second family room. The pool incorporates an adjustable aluminium lattice screen that may offer various levels of seclusion as needed. It opens onto views of the neighbourhood in the area.
