Aluminium wheeled Husqvarna Bikes launched in India by Bajaj Auto

On 25^th February’2020, Bajaj Auto published the prices the Husqvarna twin bikes in India – Svartpilen 250 and Vitpilen 250, with introductory prices starting at INR. 180,000 (ex-showroom).

The twin models of Husqvarna are equipped with 17” cast aluminium wheels, dual-channel ABS, LED headlight and taillight. The fuel-injected 250cc machine is geared up with liquid-cooled, single-cylinder and 4-stroke DOHC engine.

The bikes weigh 153 and 154 kg and have a fuel tank capacity of 9.5 litres.

Husqvarna Motorcycles will be available for sale from the KTM showrooms from the early next month, which is upgraded to sell both KTM and Husqvarna brands.

Husqvarna is a Swedish premium motorcycle brand and also one of the oldest motorcycle brands in the world. It is a part of the KTM Group and has entered India through the hands of Bajaj Auto.

Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director, Bajaj Auto said: “The premium motorcycle segment has seen strong growth in India over the last five years of almost 19% CAGR, with two broad classes of motorcycles - sporty high-performance motorcycles and lifestyle motorcycles with limited performance.”
