The leading producer of aluminium systems in Europe, with branches in many European countries, Aluprof has joined the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB).
The Polish supplier a year ago set itself the task of promoting the global development of architecture towards an energy-efficient and sustainable practice.
However, for this reason, the company is continuously expanding its portfolio to include ecological and durable aluminium products from the fields of windows, doors, facades and shutters.
According to the company: “The bars made from scrap aluminium are the key to a product's low carbon footprint. Recycling saves a good 95% of the energy required to manufacture primary aluminium. Pollutant emissions are also reduced by 95%, as is water pollution by 97%.”
The manufacturer's systems are also subjected to an environmental test following the Cradle to Cradle philosophy. All of this is expressed in the slogan “Let's build a better future”. The company already has several international buildings certified to Breeam and Leed standards.
