AMAG becomes the only aluminium rolled product supplier to receive Accredited Supplier award from Airbus

AMAG, a leading Austrian premium supplier of high-quality aluminium cast and flat rolled products for highly varied industries, has been conferred the “Accredited Supplier” award from European aircraft manufacturer Airbus at the Airbus Material & Parts Supplier.

AMAG becomes the only aluminium rolled product supplier to receive this award. The company was awarded for its outstanding delivery reliability and excellent product quality and forms part of Airbus’ Supply Chain & Quality Improvement Program (SQIP).

“We are delighted to receive this third award and would like to thank Airbus for our excellent partnership over many years. We see this success as an incentive to continue working on our performance, and consequently on developing our business relationship. Our joint projects for the next few years have already been set up,” said Gerald Mayer, CEO of AMAG Austria Metall AG. 

“By awarding AMAG with the 2019 accredited suppliers award, Airbus recognized the high level of service and quality of the products supplied from Ranshofen. We appreciate the long-term cooperation, which already resulted in various other awards, such as the Best Performer Award 2018,” said Kati Schirmacher, Airbus Supply Chain Quality & Operations Manager.
