Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) has acknowledged ASAŞ Alüminyum San. Ve Tic. A.Ş. (ASAŞ Alüminyum) with the Performance Standard certification for the manufacture of alumuminium flat rolled products, aluminium profile, composite panels, PVC profiles, and shutter products at its Akyazı and Karapürçek production facilities in Türkiye, and headquarters located in Istanbul, Türkiye.
ASAŞ Alüminyum is in aluminium extrusion business since 1992. It produces finished and semi-finished rolled and extruded aluminium products destined for the building and construction, commercial vehicles, rail transport, aerospace, automotive, solar panel, electronics, machinery, consumer goods, lighting, and furniture.
On receiving the certification, Derya Hatiboğlu, General Manager at ASAŞ, said: “We believe sustainability is much more than simply reducing our carbon footprint. The independent, third-party audit of ASAŞ Alüminyum was carried out by LiberoAssurance.
