ASI certifies Gränges plant in Sweden against Chain of Custody Standard Certification for aluminium casting & rolling

The Aluminium Stewardship Initiative has certified Gränges, an aluminium technology company, against the Chain of Custody Standard Certification for casting and rolling operations at its Finspång AB plant in Sweden. The facility earlier achieved full Performance Standard Certification status, which superseded the Provisional Status Certification achieved in February 2021.

Gränges Finspång AB plant in Sweden designs and manufactures aluminium rolled strips and sheets destined for the automotive industry, with current annual production capacity of 100 Kt.

This facility’s focus on the production of aluminium for the automotive sector makes it well-placed to contribute solutions for a growing and evolving hybrid and electric vehicle market. With its dual ASI Certification in place, Gränges will also be able to meet the increasing demand for responsibly produced materials.”
