According to a recent report, Aluminium Stewardship Initiative has successfully certified Yunnan Haoxin Aluminum Foil Co., Ltd. against Performance Standard certification for aluminium re-melting, refining and rolling activities. The facility has an annual production capacity of 200,000 tonnes of aluminium sheet and foil. Besides, a 35,000 tonnes expansion project, which is not yet operational, is also included in the certification.
{alcircleadd}Aluminium foil produced in this facility is destined for several downstream uses in the electronics, packaging, pharmaceutical, HVAC and other sectors.
Early this year, in January, Yunnan Haoxin Aluminum Foil Co., Ltd. joined ASI as a new Production & Transformation member, which brought the total number of ASI members to 152.

Chen Debin, Executive Director of Yunnan Haoxin Aluminum Foil Co., Ltd., said: “We are pleased to have successfully passed the ASI certification. The independent, third-party audit of the Yunnan Haoxin Aluminum Foil Co., Ltd. plant was carried out by TÜV Rheinland Cert GmbH.
