ASI welcomes aluminium slug and disc producer ALUMAN SA as 171st Production & Transformation member

Aluminium Stewardship Initiative has welcomed ALUMAN SA as a new Production & Transformation member, bringing the total number of members to 171. 

Headquartered in Athens, ALUMAN SA produces aluminium slugs and discs with an annual production capacity of 35,000 tonnes. It exports 100 per cent of its production to different countries across the world. The company’s production site is situated in the industrial area of Inofyta Viotias, 50 km north of Athens, where ALUMAN’s competitive manufacturing facility satisfies not only European (EU) but also International standards. It has been certified with various ISO standards such as 9001, 14001, 50001 as well as BS OHSAS 18001.

ALUMAN’s vision is to continue being a trustworthy aluminium slug supplier, and by becoming an ASI member, it is now committed to integrating ethical and sustainable business practices across all its operations.
