Asus develops gamer-friendly ROG Phone 7 featuring aluminium framework

Asus has vouched to combat the two prevailing concerns for a gamer in handling the phone, battery life and excessive heating. With its new Asus ROG Phone 7 and ROG 7 Ultimate, the brand will change the functionality of a cell phone altogether. The sets arrive with an aluminium body that has pressure-sensitive air triggers embedded within.

The company has reconstructed the ROG Phone 6 Pro module a bit to give these new models some upgraded features. Asus ROG Phone 7 and ROG 7 Ultimate have custom-made thermal compounds to divert heat waves from the CPU and an additional vapour chamber with ancillary liquid return channels. With the upgraded characteristics, the brand thinks the latest models will have 168 per cent augmented thermal efficiency, letting the CPU churn at a faster pace for longer. Asus has also included an optional Aeroactive Cooler 7 cooling fan.

The most extraordinary feature in the new models is the pressure-sensitive air triggers attached to the phone’s rigid aluminium frame that allows quick cooling. Also, the aluminium frame has been equipped with RGB backlighting, which is a trendy yet useful feature for gamers.

Asus has left no uncertainty about the processors as the ROG Phone 7 comes with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPUs, alongside 16GB RAM and up to 512GB of swift UFS 4.0 flash storage.
