One of Australia’s leading suppliers of aluminium products and other auxiliary services, Capral Aluminium has inherited EDGE Architectural Glazing Systems from another Australia-based aluminium innovator, Aluminium Industries, situated in Victoria State.
This action will enable Capral as a dealer of this particular range, EDGE Architectural Glazing system in Victoria and gradually in other regions of Australia. The handover will occur in June, with Capral instantly promoting the EDGE range around its supply network.
The CEO of Capral, Tony Dragicevich narrated: “This is an important acquisition for Capral as we continue to expand our offer to Australian window and door manufacturers across a range of markets.”
Tony has claimed that these well-designed, locally developed aluminium glazing systems are desirable to the industry, while the company is pleased to provide stability to its ongoing supply.
“We view this strategic acquisition as an opportunity to further strengthen our position as a leading Australian supplier of aluminium building systems,” he also added.
The General Manager of marketing and technology, Michael O’Keefe commented: “The EDGE brand is highly regarded, by architects and building designers.”
“Aluminium Industries should be commended for their development of such an innovative platform of glazing systems, which services predominately commercial projects.”
At this moment, O’Keefe is also appreciative of the thermal performance ratings provided by the EDGE U-MAX thermally broken system when adjoined with high-performance glass variations available in the Australian market.
“For specifiers in Victoria, access to a range of glazing systems which can deliver good thermal performance outcomes is critical for code compliance and Capral is pleased to be able to continue to offer this range to the market at a time when high-performance systems are in greater demand than ever,” he concluded.
Following the terms of the acquisition, Capral will now be the owner of the complete EDGE product range along with equipment and resources linked to it.
The company is very confident about its existing distribution network catering to the window and door manufacturers, assuring themselves that the EDGE suites range will flourish under the connectivity Capral has already.
