On Friday, December 24, the average alumina spot price in China has gone down by RMB 4 per tonne to come in at RMB 2,814 per tonne, found the Shanghai Metals Market.
The average alumina price in Guizhou has gone down by RMB 50 per tonne to come in at RMB 2,800 per tonne. In Lianyungang and Bayuquan, the price has slumped by RMB 50 per tonne to total at RMB 2,875 per tonne and RMB 2,925 per tonne, for the same day. In Guangxi, the price has slipped by RMB 10 per tonne to close at RMB 2,725 per tonne. On the other hand, in provinces like Shandong, Henan and Shanxi, the price has remained unchanged to clock at RMB 2,915 per tonne and RMB 2,815 per tonne, respectively.
The Australian alumina FOB price has remained the same to clock in at RMB 345 per tonne.
The price of A00 aluminium ingot has remained restrained to come in at RMB 20,070 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to stand between RMB 20,050 per tonne and RMB 20,090 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 160-120 per tonne, for the same day.
In Gongyi the price has gone down by RMB 10 per tonne to come in at RMB 20,030 per tonne. On the other hand in Foshan, the price has remained restrained to stand in at RMB 20,170 per tonne. In Chongqing and Linyi, the price has moved up by RMB 20 per tonne to peg at RMB 20,120 per tonne and RMB 20,180 per tonne. In Wuxi, the price has climbed up by RMB 15 per tonne to settle at RMB 20,080 per tonne. In Shenyang and Tianjin, the price has ascended by RMB 40 per tonne and RMB 30 per tonne, to settle at RMB 20,060 per tonne. In Hangzhou, the price has increased by RMB 10 per tonne to clock at RMB 20,085 per tonne, for the same day.
The aluminium alloy price (ADC12), (A380) and (A356) has remained the same at RMB 20,600 per tonne, RMB 21,800 per tonne and RMB 22,050 per tonne.
The average price for the same is expected to orbit between RMB 20,500 to RMB 20,700 per tonne for (ADC12). For (A356), the average price is expected to range between RMB 22,000 per tonne and RMB 22,100 per tonne. For (A380), the average price is expected to stand between RMB 21,700 per tonne and RMB 21,900 per tonne.
