According to the Shanghai Metals Market, the average alumina spot price in China has ascended by RMB 6 per tonne to close in at RMB 2,818 per tonne, as of Friday, December 31.
For the same day in Henan and Shanxi, the price has surged by RMB 10 per tonne to stand at RMB 2,835 per tonne, respectively. On the other hand in Shandong and Guizhou, the price has gone down by RMB 5 per tonne and RMB 20 per tonne, to peg at RMB 2,860 per tonne and RMB 2,760 per tonne. In other provinces like Guangxi, Lianyungang and Bayuquan, the average alumina spot price has remained unchanged. The price has been recorded at RMB 2,700 in Guangxi, RMB 2,875 in Lianyungang and RMB 2,925 in Bayuquan.
On Friday, December 31, the A00 aluminium ingot price has hiked by RMB 220 per tonne to clock at RMB 20,350 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to orbit between RMB 20,330 per tonne and RMB 20,370 per tonne, with spot contact to be traded at a premium price of RMB 60-20 per tonne.
In Foshan and Wuxi, the price has escalated by RMB 220 per tonne to close at RMB 20,370 per tonne and RMB 20,360 per tonne. The A00 aluminium ingot price in Chongqing and Shenyang has surged by RMB 210 per tonne to stand at RMB 20,360 per tonne and RMB 20,350 per tonne. In Tianjin and Linyi, the price has increased by RMB 210 per tonne to peg at RMB 20,350 per tonne and RMB 20,450 per tonne. In Gongyi and Hangzhou, the price has ascended by RMB 270 per tonne and RMB 225 per tonne, to total at RMB 20,310 per tonne and RMB 20,365 per tonne.
The aluminium alloy price (ADC12) and (A380) has gone up by RMB 50 per tonne to stand at RMB 20,600 per tonne and RMB 21,800 per tonne. The average price for (ADC12) is expected to range between RMB 20,500 per tonne and RMB 20,700 per tonne. The average price for (A380) is expected to stand between RMB 21,700 per tonne and RMB 21,900 per tonne.
The aluminium alloy price (A356) has climbed up by RMB 200 per tonne to settle at RMB 22,250 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to orbit between RMB 22,200 per tonne and RMB 22,300 per tonne.
