One of the most significant aluminium beverage can producers in the USA, Ball Corporation, has recently taken over a warehousing and manufacturing property near Jefferson State Community College in Pinson. This industrial zone situated at 124 Carson Road would aid Ball in augmenting its capacity.
A real estate data firm, Reonomy, has confirmed that the construction located on the 13-acre site spanning 147,810 square feet of land is very close to manufacturing enterprises like The Sherwin Williams Co., Ryerson and Autocar Trucks.
On October 10, OHBC Warehousing LLC was successful in acquiring the property from Rexam Beverage Can Co. Inc. for a whopping amount of US$2.3 million. Rexam Beverage Can Co., the seller, on the other hand, shares a company address listed at 9200 West 108th Circle in Westminster, Colorado, with Ball Corporation, which underlines the connection.
OHBC Warehousing LLC also shares the same address as the latest 124 Carson Road property. This site hosts NRTC Automation's corporate headquarters, consisting of its manufacturing and automation services alongside Rexam Beverage Can Americas' production line, which shows prominent affiliation with Ball.
Ball Corp. acquired Rexam in June 2016 for US$6.1 billion of cash and equity and the assumption of US$2.4 billion of net debt. Rexam was previously involved in the manufacturing of metal beverage cans.
As a result of the acquisition, Ball became the world's largest producer of aluminium beverage cans, as per the company's website. Ball specializes in providing innovative and sustainable packaging solutions for beverage, personal care and household products customers, as well as aerospace and other technologies and services to commercial and governmental customers.
