Belarus is a landlocked country in Eastern Europe. It is bordered by Russia to the northeast, Ukraine to the south, Poland to the west, and Lithuania and Latvia to the northwest. The country’s export market for aluminium bar rods and profiles has been reflecting a stable growth during 2017-19, as the total export stood at 104,105 tonnes and the revenue earning was recorded at $377.03 million. The projected export for 2020 has been analysed at 47,523 tonnes and might climb to $177.88 million. When the analysed export volume and the revenue earning gets added with the existing three years it stands to 151,628 tonnes and $554.91 million respectively.
Belarus export of aluminium bar rods and profiles in 2017 remained just at 20,439 tonnes and the revenue generation stood at $70.30 million, whereas in 2018 a jump by 89.31% has been recorded in the export as the volume stood at 38,695 tonnes and the revenue rose to $140.16 million, a growth by 99%.
In 2019 the export again showed a positive move as the volume stood to 44,971 tonnes and revenue generation as surged to $177.88 million, while the estimated export volume for 2020 has been depicted with growth by 5.67% as the volume might reach to 47,532 tonnes, the highest in the four years.
