Sakuu®, a leading provider of commercial-scale battery manufacturing equipment and technology, has announced a joint development agreement with ELEQTRION, a Quebec-based innovator in aluminium-ion battery technology. The collaboration will capitalise on Kavian’s cost-effectiveness and reduced carbon footprint to drive advancements in sustainable energy.
By combining Sakuu’s Kavian™ platform with ELEQTRION’s specialised battery electrodes, the partnership aims to accelerate the development of aluminium-ion batteries for a range of applications, from small to large-scale energy storage and e-mobility solutions. As global demand for reliable and sustainable energy storage continues to rise, the development of alternative battery chemistries has become essential.
