British bike maker, Volt has launched the new Infinity e-bike, termed as its' most advanced e-bike yet and a significant evolution of its much-loved predecessor'. The e-bike has been modelled around a brushed aluminium frame and can be considered to have a compact design.
{alcircleadd}The new Infinity e-bike has been inspired by all the Volt models released throughout 2022, and the brand claims this latest upgrade brings together splendour and modernity. It has been equipped with a removable battery, and with or without it, the brushed aluminium frame contributes to the low weight of Volt Infinity e-bikes.
Aluminium is an infinitely recyclable non-ferrous metal that can retain its actual form even after going through the transformation process. Thus, colossal automobile brands are slowly moving towards using aluminium for a vehicle's framework so that at the end of its life, the retired mobility unit can be put through recycling processes. On the other hand, aluminium might be malleable but is sturdy to give shape to any foreseeable design. Usually, in the making of bikes, different variations of aluminium extrusions are used.
The bike also features an intuitive Shimano Steps drive system that can gauge a rider's movement and programme its internal riding skills to match with the user. Volt claims that Infinity e-bikes are the most delicately designed products from the brand since it also combines the impulse of the fully automatic electric Shimano Alfine 8-speed gears.
Infinity has been assembled from state-of-the-art precision parts to provide the rider with safety and dependence. It has an armoured aluminium body where Shimano disc brakes, Alexrim reinforced wheels and Velo-produced saddles have been distinctively installed. Even the AI formatting in the cycle allows a user to turn the lights on or off with the help of a small button.
The founder and owner of Volt, James Metcalfe, specifically mentioned: "The team and I are particularly proud of the Infinity; it reflects Volt's commitment to iteration and improvement in every step of the process, with a sleek new design and a technical overhaul."
"We wanted to build a hybrid that pushed the boundaries, integrating the Shimano Steps drive system to deliver powerful and efficient engineering encased in the bike's elegant design. Everyone at Volt has worked tirelessly to create a fully automatic bike which delivers a premium experience for every rider. We can't wait to see what the public thinks as we take the Infinity to market," Metcalfe seemed curious about public review.
