One of the most traditional beverage companies in Pernambuco, Brazil, Pitú launched a commemorative limited edition collection of Pitú cachaça aluminium cans for the 2023 carnival. The aluminium cans are expected to be sold on February 8th throughout Brazil. There are 5 million 350 ml units in all.
{alcircleadd}"After a long period of waiting, Pitú is ready and with the block in full force on the streets in different places in Brazil. Carnival is part of our DNA and cans with a commemorative design provide even more joy for those who enjoy the party", stated Alexandre Ferrer, Commercial and Marketing Director of Pitú.
The design, motivated by the song "Abre Alas," symbolises the party's variety and pluralism. The graphic has components representing the music, dance, heat, and colour of the celebrations held around the nation.
Compared to other package types, like glass or plastic bottles, aluminium has a better recycling rate and contains more recycled material. Because they are robust, stackable, and lightweight, marketers can package and ship more beverages with less waste.
