Nothing a UK-based privately held consumer tech company has announced that its first smartphone titled, ‘Phone (1)’ will be finally revealed to the customer on July 12. As per Carl Pei, the CEO and co-founder of Nothing, the smartphone is constructed using 100 per cent recycled aluminium.
{alcircleadd}On June 13, the company released a teaser picture of the much-awaited smartphone, revealing that the Nothing Phone (1) is likely to flaunt flat edges and rounded corners. As per the data, Nothing's worldwide growth efforts will be aided by O2, Telekom Deutschland, and Flipkart, bringing phone (1) one step closer to its summer arrival.
“When we started Nothing we wanted to bring back the excitement we once felt for the tech industry. Joining forces with leading telcos and retailers, we look forward to shaking up the smartphone market together. We can’t wait to reveal phone (1) to the world later this summer,” said Carl Pei.
According to the company, the upcoming smartphone will also feature wireless charging, no chin, and a transparent back. Reports claim that Nothing Phone (1) will also be powered by a Snapdragon processor and run on a unique Nothing OS, which is a modified version of Android that "captures the greatest features" and "distils everything down to just the necessities."
