The prices of major aluminium scrap commodities edged higher in China as demand shot up among recyclers and downstream industry players. As on Wednesday, July 4, most of the aluminium scrap commodities were up by RMB 50 per tonne from their previous average prices. Overall price change ratio has been in the range of 0.41-0.59.

In addition to the above aluminium scrap commodities, price increase was observed for Aluminum Radiator(North China)Recycling Rate 85-87 per cent, Clean Tense(North China)Recycling Rate 93-95 per cent, Tense(Southwest China)Recycling Rate 83-85 per cent, Clean Tapping Aluminum Wire(South China), Aluminum Scrap-Litho Plates(South China), Baled UBC(East China), Clean Tapping Aluminum Wire(East China)-Shanghai, Aluminum Extrusion(East China-Shanghai)6063 Old, Shredded Taint(South China)Recycling Rate 90-92 per cent, and Baled UBC(South China).

The price of Aluminum Baled UBC for South China market showed the highest price change ratio 0.59 per cent. As on July 5, the price of the aluminium scrap commodity ranged at RMB 8,400-8,600 per tonne, with the average price standing at RMB 8,500 per tonne.
Clean Tapping Aluminum Wire in North China market traded at the highest price in the spot market. The average price of the aluminium scrap commodity stood at RMB 12,250 per tonne, up 0.41 per cent from its previous average price of RMB 12,200 per tonne on July 4.
