On Tuesday, February 6, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price hiked by RMB 40 per tonne to arrive at RMB 18,770 per tonne, with the average prices between RMB 18,750 per tonne and RMB 18,790 per tonne. The spot contract price may be traded at a discount price of RMB 20 to a premium price of RMB 20 per tonne.
{alcircleadd}The domestic aluminium ingot prices have ascended in most of the provinces. To begin with, the price in Chongqing has added RMB 70 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,800 per tonne, followed by a growth of RMB 50 per tonne in Wuxi to halt at RMB 18,780 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the Gongyi, Shenyang and Tianjin prices have gained RMB 40 per tonne to clock at RMB 18,710 per tonne and RMB 18,820 per tonne. In Hangzhou, the domestic aluminium ingot price experienced the same price increase of RMB 40 per tonne to peg at RMB 18,770 per tonne. In Linyi, the price has increased by RMB 30 per tonne, settling at RMB 18,820 per tonne.
As per the SMM data, the domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has moved up by RMB 14 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,559 per tonne. The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has increased to RMB 50 per tonne, stopping at RMB 19,400 per tonne, with the average prices standing between RMB 19,200 per tonne and RMB 19,600 per tonne.For aluminium alloys (AD12) and aluminium alloy (A380) the prices have shown no change to settle at RMB 20,000 per tonne and RMB 21,000 per tonne. The aluminium powder price has also remained unchanged at RMB 21.2 per kg.
