China’s A00 aluminium ingot price gains RMB 260 per tonne to settle at RMB 20,560 per tonne, with average prices between RMB 20,540 per tonne and RMB 20,580 per tonne. The spot contract price may be traded at a discount price of RMB 20 per tonne to a premium price of RMB 20 per tonne.
On M-o-M scale the domestic aluminium ingot price skyrocketed by RMB 1,430 per tonne from RMB 19,130 per tonne recorded on March 12. As of today, the prices have shown growth in the entire province. To begin with, the prices in Linyi and Gongyi have surged by RMB 310 per tonne and RMB 270 per tonne, settling at RMB 20,610 per tonne and RMB 20,520 per tonne.
On the same day, the prices in Wuxi and Hangzhou have hiked by RMB 260 per tonne to peg at RMB 20,560 per tonne, followed by an ascend of RMB 240 per tonne and RMB 230 per tonne in Chongqing and Shenyang to dock at RMB 20,510 per tonne and RMB 20,480 per tonne. This trend was followed by an upward movement in Chongqing and Shenyang, where the prices have ascended by RMB 240 per tonne and RMB 230 per tonne, docking at RMB 20,510 per tonne and RMB 20,480 per tonne, respectively. In Foshan and Tianjin, the A00 aluminium ingot prices have also gained RMB 210 per tonne and RMB 200 per tonne, coming in at RMB 20,530 per tonne and RMB 20,500 per tonne.
As per the SMM data, the average alumina spot price has moved up by RMB 1 per tonne to RMB 3,298 per tonne. In Shandong, the price has hiked by RMB 5 per tonne to RMB 3,250 per tonne. The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has surged by RMB 226 per tonne to RMB 21,444 per tonne.
The high purity aluminium (99.99%) and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price have expanded by RMB 300 per tonne to peg at RMB 28,000 per tonne and RMB 29,000 per tonne. The Australian alumina FOB price has grown by US$3 per tonne to come in at US$377 per tonne.
The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has grown by RMB 250 per tonne to come in at RMB 21,250 per tonne, with the average prices standing between RMB 21,000 per tonne and RMB 21,300 per tonne. On the same day, the price of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have added RMB 100 per tonne to clock at RMB 20,700 per tonne and RMB 21,700 per tonne.
