Exports of unwrought aluminium and aluminium products continued to trend lower in China. Exports of these products dropped by 28.56% from a year ago in May, after a decline of 11.4% in April.
{alcircleadd}Unwrought aluminium and aluminium products exports stood at 382,900 tonnes, according to data from the General Administration of Customs released Sunday. On a month on month basis, exported registered a decrease of 58100 tonnes or 13.17% from 441,000 tonnes.
In the first five months of 2020, total export came in at about 2.01 million tonnes. This marked a decline of 18.6% from the same period last year. China’s exports of unwrought aluminium and aluminium products declined on lower global demand due to lockdown measures to contain the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
