Aluminium foil is one of the ready products that is used in many homes for food storage, to cover baking surfaces and to wrap foods, like meats, to prevent them from eluding moisture while cooking. Furthermore, aluminium foil may be utilized to wrap and protect more delicate foods such as vegetables, when grilling them. The usage of foil doesn't restrict to food only, it can also be used to fix windows to retain the house cool during summer and hot during winter.
The Central European nation, the Czech Republic, whose economy is envisioned to pursue recovery in 2022 and the GDP growth to excel by 4%, exported 52,533 tonnes of aluminium foil during 2019-21, incurring revenue earnings of around $169.06 million.
The Czech Republic, a notable industrialized country in Europe exported 18,898 tonnes of aluminium foil during 2019, attracting an inflow of $65.44 million as earnings, whereas, in 2020, the export displayed a downfall of 8.40%, as the export volume plunged to 17,309 tonnes, soaked earnings to $60.93 million.
In 2021, the Czech Republic’s export of aluminium foil was witnessed a further drop by 5.67%, as the export volume sunk to 16,326 tonnes, counting revenue earnings of $42.69 million.
The export for 2022 is analysed with a negligible dip of 0.28%, as the export volume is anticipated to drop to 16,280 tonnes, while the earnings keep high at $44.39 million.
The major trading destinations for the Czech Republic's export of aluminium foil are Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, Egypt, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lebanon, Mexico, etc.
