When the 2020 import volume and expenditure is added with the preceding three years it reflects 474,457 tonnes and $448.40 million respectively.
In 2017, the Czech Republic’s aluminium scrap import volume was recorded at 95,195 tonnes and the price paid for it stood at $105.40 million, whereas in 2018 a rise of 28.55% has been marked, as the total import volume stood at 122,382 tonnes, with an excess volume of 27,187 tonnes on Y-o-Y and the expenditure climbed to $136.30 million.
The nation’s aluminium scrap import in 2019 showered a positive growth by 2.21% as the import volume stood at 125,098 tonnes, whereas the expenditure was dropped by 15.99%, as it was recorded at $114.50 million, with Y-o-Y drop by $21.8 million.
The estimated volume for 2020 has also shown a rise by 5.34%, as the total import volume might reach to 131,782 tonnes, while the expended price to be dropped by 22.30%, as the expenditure might stand at $92.20 million.
The major trading nations of the Czech Republic’s aluminium scrap import are Austria, Belgium, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, France, Hungary, Netherlands, Poland, UK, etc.
