The ASI logo will be featured on the newly launched Donatello Barley Wine. The first can to bear the ASI's Responsible Aluminium Sourcing logo is a major milestone since it exemplifies the implementation of sustainable practises across the aluminium value chain. The ASI on-product badge assures customers that the aluminium used in Cervejaria Masterpiece's Donatello Barley Wine satisfies the specifications outlined in ASI's Standards. Placing the first on-product branding on a beverage can demonstrate the industry's increasing understanding and relevance of responsible sourcing. Ball Corporation is one of ASI's most certified members, having received 14 certifications, including six Performance Standard and eight Chain of Custody Standard Certifications, throughout their 76 plants and offices in North and South America, Asia, and Europe.
Cervejaria Masterpiece, as an ASI Industrial User member, displays its dedication to implementing sustainable practices. Their collaboration with Ball Corporation in launching the on-product emblem demonstrates their commitment to aluminium stewardship and responsible sourcing. Cervejaria Masterpiece has used the dual ASI Certification of its aluminium can supplier, Ball Corporation, in this circumstance to be able to attach the ASI Responsible Aluminium Sourcing badge on its cans.
ASI Members must earn both Performance Standard and Chain of Custody Standard Certifications to use ASI's Responsible Aluminium Sourcing emblem on their goods. Any on-product claims must also be approved by ASI. Holding both certifications, procuring and using CoC Material from CoC Certified Entities, and maintaining material Chain of Custody are all required. This strategy offers the framework for manufacturers to make legitimate claims about responsible sourcing.
