Hindalco Industries Limited decreased its aluminium products prices with effect from Friday, October 1, a day after it increased the prices on September 30. The latest cut has brought the company’s aluminium billets price to INR 251,600 per tonne, down by INR 4,500 per tonne or 1.76 per cent from INR 256,100 per tonne on September 30.
According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), Canada imported 21,100 tonnes of plates, sheets, and bars from the United States in July 2021, showing a month-on-month reduction of 3400 tonnes or 13.87%. In June 2021, 24,500 tonnes of plates, sheets, and bars were exported to Canada, a decrease of 1.20% from 24,800 tonnes in May 2021.

According to a recent report, the Trade Remedies Authority (TRA) of the United Kingdom will review aluminium road wheels imports from the People’s Republic of China. The objective is to evaluate whether anti-dumping duties are required to countervail imports to the UK or whether the domestic aluminium road wheels industry would be injured without the duties.
