The company has already started transforming the existing engine assembly line to produce EVs, with the all-electric BMW i4 being the first product of this shift. The plant will start producing the New Class (Neue Klasse) in 2026. BMW's investment of approximately 400 million euros demonstrates its commitment to the future of electric vehicle manufacturing.
