Fanta, in partnership with Ball Corporation, has recently launched a delectable mystery-flavoured aluminium canned beverage and a 5D sipping experience to enhance the ambience of the Halloween season. The innovative can technology offers an enhanced flavour profile that becomes more pronounced as the can undergo cooling, accompanied by a colour change in the label to pink.
In addition to the special edition Fanta Mistério with conventional flavours such as passion fruit, orange, grape, and guaraná, the brand introduces a new feature that enhances the experience: a thermochromic aluminium can with a "warming flavour. Thermochromic inks change colour when a product is refrigerated to a specific temperature. These inks produce two unique visual states in beverage cans: at room and chilled/cold temperatures.
The innovation used by this corporation indirectly emphasises the benefits of aluminium cans for consumers. These advantages include the complete recyclability of the cans, the ability to rapidly cool the beverage, the assurance of safety, and the convenience of transportation.
Additionally, using aluminium cans helps preserve the distinct flavour of Fanta by protecting it from potential harm caused by UV rays. The newly introduced product is not only accessible within the borders of Brazil but also across eleven Latin American countries, offering two different size options of 310 and 350 millilitres.
