Frank and Honest has announced that it has launched its new aluminium coffee capsules, embarking a significant step in sustainable journey. The company says that these aluminium capsules will replace the entire usage of plastic in its coffee capsules.
{alcircleadd}Frank and Honest also explains that using aluminium in capsules will reduce the product's environmental footprint, given that they will be lightweight and recyclable. Besides, aluminium capsules will also notably improve the quality of the coffee as they are airtight, thereby, keep the coffee inside fresh for longer and fully protected from moisture, oxygen, light, and heat.
The new coffee capsules are also compatible with all generation Nespresso® machines, excluding Nespresso® Vertuo.
When it comes to recycling these capsules, there are two methods. One method will require you to follow these steps - leave the capsules to cool down fully, remove the lids, empty the coffee out, rinse the capsules and lids, and then dispose into recycling/green bin. The second method is recycle them by a Dualit Recycler, available to purchase from SuperValu and Centra stores.
From bean to cup, Frank and Honest’s sustainability credentials are worth mentioning. The coffee company has always put processes in place to ensure it looks at sustainable optimal solutions for each stage of its coffee making journey.
