Guangyuan Zhongfu Technology acquires the ASI dual certification for its facility in Sichuan

Guangyuan Zhongfu Technology Co., LTD, based in Sichuan, China, has earned the ASI Performance Standard V3 (2022) and the Chain of Custody (CoC) Standard V2 (2022) certifications, reflecting its commitment to responsible production practices. The company is known for manufacturing aluminium alloy flat ingots and is widely used in producing cans, aseptic cartons, flexible packaging, consumer electronics, and lightweight automotive components.

Located in Sichuan, China, the facility primarily produces aluminium alloy flat ingots for manufacturing cans, aseptic cartons, flexible packaging, consumer electronics, and lightweight automotive components. The facility employs remelting and casting processes with a production capacity of 150,000 tonnes per year.

SGS-CSTC Standards Technical Services carried out the independent, third-party audit of the Guangyuan Zhongfu Technology. The Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) has announced that Guangyuan Zhongfu Technology Co., LTD has achieved certification under the ASI Performance Standard V3 and Chain of Custody (CoC) Standard V2.

The ASI Certification program, developed through extensive multi-stakeholder consultation, is the only comprehensive voluntary sustainability standard for the aluminium value chain. The ASI Performance Standard V3 and CoC Standard V2, introduced in May 2022, followed a rigorous multi-year revision process to ensure alignment with evolving industry sustainability goals.
