Gumei Metal bags the prestigious China Green Building Materials Product Certification

Gumei Metal, a manufacturer of a wide selection of aluminium products, was honoured with the prestigious China Green Building Materials Product Certification. The China-based company received the award for three aluminium products, achieving the highest distinction—the three-star certification.

"This recognition not only highlights the superior quality of our offerings but also underscores our unwavering commitment to environmental protection and sustainable development," said Gumei Metal.

The China Green Building Materials Product Certification is a program launched by the State Administration for Market Regulation in collaboration with the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. This program aims to drive the green transformation and modernization of the building materials sector.

It encourages energy conservation, emission reduction, and sustainable practices. The certification is divided into three levels—one star, two stars, and three stars—with three stars representing the highest standard.

The certification process involved a rigorous review by an expert panel, covering a wide range of criteria including product quality, management systems, facility environment, research and development, production management, and process technology.

Every aspect—from raw material sourcing to manufacturing, product performance, and energy consumption—underwent thorough scrutiny. Ultimately, Gumei Metal's anodised profiles (6005/6063-T5/T6 series), powder-coated profiles (6063-T5/T6 series), and thermal insulation profiles (6063-T5/T6 series) successfully passed the evaluation, earning the prestigious certification.
