Honor, a company owned by Huawei Technologies has glared its entry into a new segment in India. The company has launched its first laptop — Honor MagicBook 15 in the country.
{alcircleadd}The Honor MagicBook 15 comes with an aluminium chassis and a pop-up webcam which is hidden beneath the camera button placed on the keyboard. The MagicBook 15 users just have to tap on the camera button on the keyboard which will make the camera pop-up. The company professes that this hidden camera technique will safeguard the privacy of the user and will secure them against remote hijacking and peeping.
The Laptop comes in Space Gray and Mystic Silver colour options and is priced at INR 42,990. The laptop will be available through online window starting 6th August’20. As part of the launch offer, the company is giving a discount of INR 3,000 on the first sale of the laptop. This offer will lead the customers to buy the device at INR 39,990. Furthermore, customers can also avail of the no-cost EMI up to 12 months and exchange offer of up to INR 13,000 on the device.
The Honor MagicBook 15 also comes equipped with a fingerprint button and an S-shaped fan which can improve the airflow and heat dissipation up to 38%. The device features a 15.6-inch display with 1920x1080 pixel resolution. The laptop is powered by AMD Ryzen 5 3500 processor with Radeon Vega 8 graphics.
The device packs 8GB of RAM and 256GB SSD storage. The laptop runs Windows 10 operating system. For connectivity, users will get Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type C, HSMI, USB 3.0, and USB 2.0. The laptop is backed by a 42Wh battery with a 65W Type- C Power Adapter with fast charging. The company claims that the laptop can charge up to 53% in just 30 minutes.
