The Norway headquartered company, Hydro provides two aluminium bridge decking technologies: (i) Aluminium isotropic deck technology (ii) Aluminium orthotropic deck technology.

Bridge deck projects have successfully used both technologies for decades. There are many bridge applications where aluminium decking is feasible, according to evaluations funded by the US Federal Highway Administration.
