Trac INC. has brought forth a lighter, trendier and capable tyre lifting tool with its aluminium 'TRAC TireJack' after its original much popular tyre lifting tool.
The new tool, expected to launch in January 2025, is a lightweight version of TRAC's original TireJack.
The original tool is a designed product that magnanimously helps technicians when mounting and demounting heavy wheel automobiles to and from any hub. The tyre jack slides under the tyre and wheel, enabling the technician to roll the wheel into position.
The original item weighs around 8 pounds (approx 3.6 kilograms), while the aluminium jack weighs only around 1 pound (only 453 grams).
Due to the metal's features, the light construction of the new tool still allows heavy lifting and bears a poly-roller on the base to help mechanics safely roll the wheel onto the auto.
Both the jacks were displayed at the 2024 edition of the Specialty Equipment Market Association Show in Las Vegas, Nev.
Earlier, BendPak introduced a lightweight Ranger 4000ALX aluminium racing floor jack with massive heavy-lifting capabilities. The new device made with aluminium from the 'Ranger' division of BendPak is a mobile floor jack weighing 56 pounds (approx. 25 kilograms). Made of aircraft-grade aluminium, the lever is capable of lifting upto 4,000 pounds (approx. 1814 kilograms), the company declared, and offers a 19-inch lift.
The tool is majorly built with a single-piece front roller, an oversized coarse-facaded aluminium handle, and double-sealed hydraulics. A built-in safety overload valve dissuades hydraulic overload for additional safety, BendPak officials said.
