Italy has been stunning the world with its artistic creation for centuries. What made Italy even more noticeable in the 1950s were the Italian sports cars, which were considered 'moving art' at the time. Paying tribute to those beauties, The Amalgam Collection's aluminium carrosseries hasve recently made some buzz and, all for the right reasons.

{alcircleadd}Curving metals into artistic car bodies is a meticulous task indeed, especially when trying to capture the original essence in a quarter of the size.
Each piece has been handcrafted with utmost details and traditional techniques from aluminium sheets by proficient artisans. To create the panels using the 'English Wheel' and hammering the metal over a buck, the work done by legendary coachbuilders such as Scaglietti, Pininfarina, Touring, and Zagato has been precisely replicated.
The 'trellis', on which each replica is layered, is machined precisely and is drawn from digital scans of the original iconic cars. The final touch on each piece can be customised as per clients' choice, with finish options like raw hammered or mirror polished. The client can also get the piece adorned in an original race livery.
Recreation of Ferrari 250 GTO
Amalgam's ever-increasing passion for Ferrari 250 GTO had sparked when they first fabricated the car for Ralph Lauren in 2009.
Amalgam has now developed a handwrought aluminium replica of the 250 GTO body at a quarter of its original size. Drawing from comprehensive research into 16 of the most prominent race liveries, Amalgam presents the 1 is to 4 scale 250 GTO body in a limited edition of only 10 counts of each livery.
Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa replica
The Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa is considered a crest of automotive art, which has earlier yielded tremendous success on the track.
Scuderia Ferrari participated with Testa Rossa in 5 World Championship years from 1957 to 1962, and the model inscribed its legacy as the most thriving sports racing car in Ferrari's celebrated history.
Its "pontoon fender" chassis is an inspiration to numerous automotive designers. To honour the enchanting build of the 250 Testa Rossa, Amalgam has presented a hand-formed aluminium replica of the sports car, also at a quarter size. As with the 250 GTO, each one is finely crafted from aluminium, following classic carrosserie expertise, with each panel made and fitted by hand over a 'trellis', strictly heeding the process used by Carozzerie Scaglietti in 1957 while creating the original.
With each recreation made to order, these artworks bring forth a noteworthy investment in skilled craftsmanship and are an awestrucking testament to the snowballing legacy of Italy's automotive artistry.
