JSW MG Motor India on the first day of the year has declared a 55 per cent upsurge in sales at 7,516 units in December 2024, Y-o-Y (sales last year was close to 3400 units in December).
The company has witnessed recor-breaking Electic Vehicles (EV) sales in December and NEV (new energy vehicle) sales which contributed towards over 70 per cent of the all-out sales with its crossover utility vehicle Windsor selling a blockbuster number of 3,785 units. This new year sales statement was provided by JSW MG Motor India through an official statement.
"Going forward, we will maintain our growth momentum while driving continuous disruption and innovation. We are committed to introducing new products every six months, alongside delivering exceptional customer service," the spokesperson conveyed.
While combing through the past year's sales performance, the official expressed that 2024 was all about transformation. With the triumphant launch of the joint venture between JSW and China's SAIC, the brand's global identity was restored, adding to the original commitment to India's automotive evolution.JSW MG Motor India aims to build on this momentum into 2025 with a range of innovations and products planned for the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in January, according to the statement.
Aluminium plays a significant role in the light-weighting of electric and hybrid vehicles. Components made from aluminium for EV’s include battery packs and enclosure frame solutions for all electrical vehicles among others.
