Lenovo unveils aluminium-framed, light-weight new Yoga laptops

Lenovo has reportedly launched new Yoga laptops with improved features including AI-intelligence and Amazon Alexa built-in. Lenovo Yoga C940, Lenovo Yoga S740, Lenovo Yoga C740, and Lenovo Yoga C640 are the four new launches, crafted in partnership with Intel under the Project Athena banner. The company says these new devices are all engineered to not only be the thinnest and lightest but also smart enough to adapt to your needs.

Yoga C940 has twice-polished aluminium frame, while Yoga S740 has an all-aluminium frame that besides lending light-weight to the laptops evoke a stylish appeal. Also, their Dolby Vision screens backed by powerful Dolby Atomos speakers are sure to impress both your eyes and ears.

The C940 comes in 14-inch and 15-inch variants and includes smart features like Super Resolution to upscale video to Full HD, a Q-Control system for dynamically and intelligently improving battery life, and AI-improved thermal cooling systems. It also comes with the ability to perform tasks in the background even when in sleep mode.

Other notable features are Amazon Alexa’s voice assistant, Windows Hello security, and TrueBlock Privacy shutter.

Lenovo Yoga S740 has similar features to that of C940, including intelligent cooling and optimised battery life. It also has AI-smarts and intelligent features and weighs only 1.4 kg, thanks to the all-aluminium frame.

Lenovo Yoga C740 and C640 are the 2-in-1 addition to Yoga’s Lenovo range. Both have a Full HD display and come with innumerable smart features like the option of double the amount of RAM and storage space. While former has the TrueBlock Privacy Shutter and a secure fingerprint login, the latter comes with an optional ultra-fast 4G LTE modem so that users don't need to rely on public Wi-Fi when they are out and about.
