LME aluminium opened at US$2,342 per tonne on Thursday, with its high and low at US$2,367 per tonne and US$2,327 per tonne, respectively, before closing at US$2,340 per tonne, a drop of US$0.5 per tonne or 0.02 per cent.
{alcircleadd}On Thursday, April 6, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price dipped by US$5.5 per tonne or 0.23 per cent to settle at US$2,300 per tonne and US$2,300.50 per tonne.
3-month bid price and 3-month offer price slipped by US$13 per tonne or 0.55 per cent and US$13.5 per tonne or 0.57 per cent to halt at US$2,340 per tonne and US$2,340.50 per tonne.
December 24 bid price and December 24 offer price dropped by US$17 per tonne or 0.66 per cent to close at US$2,533 per tonne and US$2,538 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock settled at 516800 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants clocked at 421450 tonnes and 95350 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price came in at US$2,350.61 per tonne after going down by US$5.64 per tonne or 0.23 per cent.
SHFE aluminium price
On Friday, April 7, the SHFE aluminium benchmark price has settled at US$2,712 per tonne, with a growth of US$12 per tonne or 0.44 per cent.
The most-traded SHFE 2305 aluminium closed up 0.69 per cent or RMB 130 per tonne at RMB 18,580 per tonne, with open interest down 7,768 lots to 203,448 lots.
At Thursday's night session, the most-traded SHFE 2305 aluminium contract opened at RMB 18,545 per tonne, with its lowest and highest at RMB 18,535 per tonne and RMB 18,620 per tonne before closing at RMB 18,785 per tonne, flat from the previous trading day.
