LME aluminium opened at US$2244.5 per tonne on Thursday, with its low and high at US$2224.5 per tonne and US$2251.5 per tonne, respectively, before closing at US$2232 per tonne, down 0.47 per cent.
On Thursday, November 2, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price dropped by US$12.5 per tonne or 0.56 per cent to clock at US$2,217.50 per tonne and US$2,218 per tonne.
As per the London Metal Exchange (LME) data, both the 3-month bid price and the 3-month offer price went down by US$4 per tonne or 0.17 per cent and US$3.5 per tonne or 0.15 per cent to clock at US$2,237 per tonne and US$2,238 per tonne.
December 24 bid price and December 24 offer price moved down by US$5 per tonne or 0.21 per cent to peg at US$2,350 per tonne and US$2,355 per tonne. LME aluminium opening stock halted at 470700 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants settled at 203800 tonnes and 266900 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price dipped by US$5.8 per tonne or 0.25 per cent to halt at US$2,244.20 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
Today, on November 3, the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) aluminium price dropped by US$7 per tonne or 0.26 per cent to peg at US$2,628 per tonne. Overnight, the most-traded SHFE 2312 aluminium contract opened at RMB 19190 per tonne, with its low and high at RMB 19115 per tonne and RMB 19205 per tonne before closing at RMB 19115 per tonne, down RMB 90 per tonne or 0.47 per cent.
